Your questions : our answers...

We aim to provide in-depth coverage of institutional accounts in Germany and Austria. We deliberately do not wish to appear as salespeople for particular products but take the consultative sales approach in close cooperation with our clients. Our aim is to discover certain needs which our broad product range or part of it may satisfy. Our clients may rest assured that we shall provide them with the "best" solution anyone of our partners can provide.
You would be hard pushed to find a market going through such substantial changes. Following decades of being closely guarded by the domestic providers of asset management services, which still manage around 75% of the market, it is now a market that is dismantling all structures, replacing one-stop-shopping with a modular building block system. This opens the door for competition - for both established domestic and foreign managers. And that's where we come in.

Thanks to the 20 years of experience of our senior Managing Director in dealing with institutional accounts and his untainted track record we know how to spell the advantages of a longterm client approach. We don't dare to approach clients with the aim of selling them something. We leave that to short-termers and those who want to make a quick buck and run. Contrary to most with a similar level of sales experience he can still walk around any German town during broad daylight. We aim to please our clients with a client driven approach.

We consider you and us a team from the nascent stages of our relationship. It initially consists of you and us. The prime ingredient is that you don't expect a fast cure for your non existent business in Germany and Austria. Don't expect us to solve the problems of your negligence of our markets. Our approach is that of longterm nature. If you think in terms of quarterly 10-k filings go elsewhere and continue dreaming.
Our aim is a happy client. Those clients happily provide business opportunities.
Provided you share our views we want to become strategic partners. You need to involve us like you would involve a hired sales team. Its success largely depends on your ongoing involvement and interest all of which we call "commitment".

To be sucssessful here also needs an antenna for local requirements. This should be firmly installed in your own sales and marketing division. We do not expect or foster the adaptation of foreign products to local requirements (because we know better) but only expect from you an ongoing interest and understanding that things have worked differently here for ages (and not too badly) and for good reasons. Just bear that in mind and don't appear as a missionary. You are entering a well developed market.
